Kendra Sheldon

Sonshine Education Services was started in 2010 by Kendra Sheldon, a teacher and Advocate who has a passion to help others beyond the public school environment. The company is named after her son, a student who has struggled socially and academically in public school. The company has serviced over 100 students from 2010 to 2020. Students we have helped range from Kindergarten to College, teaching them in all content areas as well as English Language Learning and Test Prep for MCAS and SAT’s.

Jill Moroney

Jill has been working with students that vary in age from Elementary to High School. She is a Reading Specialist and loves working Reading Comprehension. Jill is well-experienced with the Lindamood-Bell Seeing Stars and Visualizing & Verbalizing reading programs.

Patty Faber

Patty became a Wilson Reading System Level 1 instructor on January 29,2010. This is a multi-sensory reading/spelling program initially designed for those with Dyslexia; but can be used for anyone with deficits in language/reading. Patty enjoys working with younger students the most.

Michelle Spain

Michelle is a dually licensed teacher in English as a Second Language and Math. She spent 10 years teaching in the Worcester Public School District in Middle School and High School. She taught MCAS Math prep for four years. She has been teaching ESL online for four years and recently completed training in the Lindamood-Bell Seeing Stars reading program.
